Childhood and adolescence are times of growth, self-discovery, and learning where we belong in the world. During these important stages of life, young people are developing their identities, finding their voices, and learning how to navigate emotions and relationships. Along the way, it can be challenging to express feelings and feel truly understood or heard by others.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and welcoming space where children and adolescents can be their authentic selves. My goal is to create an environment where young people feel comfortable expressing their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment. I am committed to helping clients feel heard, understood, and supported as they navigate life's challenges and discover their strengths.

Clinical Areas of Interest & Training

I utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and person-centered therapy. I tailor treatment to each individual's unique needs, helping clients develop healthy coping strategies, increase self-awareness, and work toward meaningful personal growth. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and strengths-based, recognizing that every child and family brings unique experiences and abilities to the therapeutic process.

Education

I earned my M.A. in Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have experience working with children and adolescents in Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) settings, supporting youth facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, low self-esteem, behavioral concerns, depression, trauma, and parent-child conflict. Through this work, I have developed a compassionate and collaborative approach focused on helping young people build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and achieve their personal goals.
