About the Role
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Interns to join Thriving Lives Counseling. This internship is an excellent opportunity for current graduate students pursuing a career in Clinical Mental Health/Clinical Psychology. The intern will provide direct support to clients and gain valuable hands-on experience in a therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Observe therapy sessions and participate in case discussions with supervision.
Conduct initial client assessments and gather relevant background information.
Develop treatment plans and interventions with clients.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance clinical skills.
Qualifications
Pursuing a degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
Strong interest in mental health and a desire to learn about therapeutic practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
